If you're looking for a raincoat for all purposes, this is a great choice! I sized up so that I could fit jackets underneath. I've worn it in driving rain and it's kept me quite dry. My one thought is if you plan to be frequently standing in absolutely pouring rain, you should go with the next level of waterproof-ness that finisterre offers. If not, this is great for daily use.
Does the job, well made, super lightweight, perfect for layering warm clothes underneath.

It is light, very well made and perfect for the job. The packaging was also all reusable and recyclable. 10 out of 10 all round.
The Rainbird does exactly what it says it will. It keeps you dry! It is light, packable in a (small) rucksack and slightly longer at the back than other light rain jackets. My wife loves it which is all that matters really!
Thin, fully waterproof and breathable. Great colour, fit and style.
