Our pinnacle insulated jacket, AKA the best jacket we've ever made.

The women's Vellus Parka uses prime technology to create our warmest jacket, in a casual parka style and timeless moss green. Using recycled (GRS certified) fabrics throughout, the fully waterproof recycled (GRS certified) polyester / organic cotton shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, and the hood has a soft fleece lining for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

The Vellus Parka represents the pinnacle of innovation and performance at Finisterre, with sustainability at its core. Using recycled (GRS certified) materials throughout, the fully waterproof shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

Waterproofing

Our highest level of waterproofing. Stay dry even on the wettest days with our 3-layer fabric featuring a 20,000 HH rating. Fully taped seams throughout and our FC-free DWR finish.

Warmth

Our warmest waterproof jacket. Keep warmth trapped with our fully recycled (GRS certified), high loft, A-Form baffled insulation and deep-pile fleece lined hood.

Breathability

Stay warm, not sweaty. Our recycled (GRS certified) synthetic insulation combined with a breathable waterproof membrane allows water vapour to easily escape. Featuring a 15K breathability rating.

Internal Zipped Valuables Pocket

Large enough for a smart phone or wallet, the secure zipped pocket also features a custom True North story label.

Recycled synthetic insulation with internal baffling and inside pocket for valuables.

Made from 100% recycled (GRS certified) polyester, the fully fleece lined hood traps in warmth. The hood's curved, extended peak avoids rain falling down onto the face.

Waterproof 2-Way Zip

A full length 2-way waterproof zip keeps rain at bay and ensures your parka stays comfortable when seated or on the move.

I love this Parka - I have worn my parka in minus 4 degrees, in very wet weather and in very windy weather as well as walking my dog in the countryside. In all temperatures I have remained cosey, warm and dry. This coat inspires the confidence and motivation to enjoy the outdoors without any concerns

about the weather. The coat initially felt slightly heavy (I am under 5 feet) but it does not feel cumbersome and the clinched waist keeps you looking 'neat' - I also do not need to use multi - layers under my coat. It is my best coat for the outdoors and it certainly looks as though it has been engineered for the long term

Everything I wanted in a cosy waterproof coat

Have to say my favourite thing is the fleece-lined hand-warmer side pockets. I wear fingerless gloves to be able to use my phone without taking gloves off. The pockets are perfect for keeping my fingers warm on very cold days. Also love the gorgeous vibrant orange lining. First test today out in the rain on a cold day and was cosy and dry the whole time. Love the styling, not too bulky and a bit of shape with the drawstring waist option. Would have like a couple of inches more on the length but otherwise perfect and well worth the money.

Amazing!

Best coat I've ever owned. Attention to details (from the soft and warm lining in the pockets to the sleeves that prevent rain from getting in), classy and super warm. I feel like I'm walking around in a warm, cozy sleeping bag even by -11 :) It's expensive, but the quality is worth every penny spent.
