Our pinnacle insulated jacket, AKA the best jacket we've ever made.

The men's Vellus Parka uses prime technology to create our warmest jacket, in a casual parka style and timeless moss green. Using recycled (GRS certified) fabrics throughout, the fully waterproof recycled (GRS certified) polyester / organic cotton shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, and the hood has a soft fleece lining for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

The Vellus Parka represents the pinnacle of innovation and performance at Finisterre, with sustainability at its core. Using recycled (GRS certified) materials throughout, the fully waterproof shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

Waterproofing

Our highest level of waterproofing. Stay dry even on the wettest days with our 3-layer fabric featuring a 20,000 HH rating. Fully taped seams throughout and our FC-free DWR finish.

Warmth

Our warmest waterproof jacket. Keep warmth trapped with our fully recycled (GRS certified), high loft, A-Form baffled insulation and deep-pile fleece lined hood.

Breathability

Stay warm, not sweaty. Our recycled (GRS certified) synthetic insulation combined with a breathable waterproof membrane allows water vapour to easily escape. Featuring a 15K breathability rating.

Love this jacket

Super warm, waterproof, excellent quality jacket. I'm 6ft and slim (32" waist), so after reading other reviews, ordered M. Body is perfect size and length, sits below trouser pockets so keeps wind out and rain runs off. The hood pulls nicely over my head, and the length is just right (you don't have to shrug like you do with some hoods to get in nice and snug). The arms could be an inch longer. They feel a little short, pulling on my watch, but it's not a deal breaker, just a suggestion - think it's been mentioned before. It is a heavy jacket, but I'm used to wearing lighter insulated jackets. The weight just makes it feel more solid and protective, which it is. And it felt stiff for the first few wears but has softened up now. Love wearing it, only hope it stays cold for longer, not ready to put it away till next winter!!

Vellus Waterproof Parka - love it

Really like this coat, very warm and waterproof. Great to have large pockets on front but also side pockets behind you can slide your hands into. The little touches such as the soft fabric just where the jacket would rub against chin when fully zipped up are really nice. Mainly used for dog walking in all weathers. Was a little worried first time a playful dog put its muddy paws all over it but fabric just wiped clean with a damp cloth. Highly recommended.
