Description
If your zip has broken or become faulty, we can replace it on any Finisterre insulation or waterproof jacket.
Service only available in the UK with an 8 week turnaround due to supplier delays.
Zips are only to be replaced if faulty or broken, not because the current design is disliked or a two way zip is preferred. This only leads to waste.
Please note, our Handwork Repair Specialists will aim to match zip as close to original where possible. If the original colour is not available, we use black. Zip measurements are in 4cm increments so replacement zip may be slightly smaller than original.
Please wash your repair before sending it in as we will be unable to repair it if it is dirty.

I was so impressed with their service. Unfathomably my zip broke on my jumpsuit, and they repaired the item for free as they believed the garment should not have failed in the manner it did. The repair was done in a couple of weeks, and it was of excellent quality. You wouldn't know it had been repaired. Thank you finisterre for actually being the sustainable company you say you are. It is the reason I was purchasing from you in the first instance, but then to have the option to repair and maintain clothes is excellent, and an essential step when trying to mitigate climate breakdown.

My new Stafford jacket had an issue with the zip continually snagging so I was offered a free repair. It took a few weeks, but the repair has been satisfactory.
It's good to see companies like this offer repairs over replacements and wasting good clothing.
Unfortunately on this occasion my pocket zip on my Stormfront jacket couldn’t be fixed. Apparently this was due to the zip not being replaceable because of the seam glue. However I still got to keep the jacket (as felt I could live with a pocket zip being faulty) and was given a 50% refund. The service is such a great idea and will definitely use it in the future for other products, was just unlucky with this as the repair couldn’t be completed therefore don’t feel like I can give a full 5 stars.
