Description

Our pinnacle insulated jacket, AKA the best jacket we've ever made.

The women's Vellus Parka uses prime technology to create our warmest jacket, in a casual parka style and timeless moss green. Using recycled (GRS certified) fabrics throughout, the fully waterproof recycled (GRS certified) polyester / organic cotton shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, and the hood has a soft fleece lining for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

The Vellus Parka represents the pinnacle of innovation and performance at Finisterre, with sustainability at its core. Using recycled (GRS certified) materials throughout, the fully waterproof shell is paired with our warm Finisterre Engineered Insulation fill, for extra warmth and comfort when the weather really closes in.

Stay warm, not sweaty. Our recycled (GRS certified) synthetic insulation combined with a breathable waterproof membrane allows water vapour to easily escape. Featuring a 15K breathability rating.

Internal Zipped Valuables Pocket

Large enough for a smart phone or wallet, the secure zipped pocket also features a custom True North story label.

Sherpa Fleece Lined Hood

Made from 100% recycled (GRS certified) polyester, the fully fleece lined hood traps in warmth. The hood's curved, extended peak avoids rain falling down onto the face.

A full length 2-way waterproof zip keeps rain at bay and ensures your parka stays comfortable when seated or on the move.

Ticks all the boxes

Had been searching for the perfect warm, waterproof coat and so happy that I decided on this one! Great length, lots of lovely warm pockets and has kept me perfectly dry in terrible weather. Hoping it will serve me well for years to come!

Warm stylish and practical jacket

This jacket is windproof, waterproof and extremely warm without being 'sweaty'. The size is true with a good cut which is really flattering; no need to look a mess even when walking the dog! The main pockets have a button down opening, which is great for storing things you don't want to fall out, and the side access to them is really helpful as you can keep tissues in there and access easily without taking your gloves off. The upper side pockets are lined with soft material, so you can tuck your hands in there to keep warm if you aren't wearing gloves. I'm really, really pleased with it, it's weighty enough not to have to have too many layers on underneath, but not to the extent that it's cumbersome; a well thought-out jacket.

I'm trying to think of some downsides, but genuinely can't. It's a great purchase and worth the expense - I'm not sending it back anytime soon!
