Palladium + Finisterre Pampa Recycled Boots

For the first week or so of wearing these boots I was in love with them. So lightweight and comfortable. A couple of wet grass dog walks and all ok. The first day I wore them during actual torrential rain they leaked immediately. Wet feet all day at work. They never recovered from this. It took days to dry them out on the inside, the glue came away a little of one boot but not on the other and both leaked from then on just in wet grass dog walks without rain. Hopeless, I was gutted.

Due to it being a collaboration and no more stock they couldn’t replace them for me. I had really loved these boots initially so really wanted a solution to fix them/replace them but they just can’t do anything when it’s a collaboration so please be aware when buying any of their collab shoes etc, if you have any issues you’re stuffed. I was offered 25% off the price if I wanted to keep them or a full refund if I returned them. It was a very disappointing only offer. Their customer service rep was not very helpful and did not make me feel valued as a customer despite being a loyal purchaser of Finisterre for some time. It took a lot of to and fro via email. Eventually another rep offered a voucher code by way of a sweetener for the inconvenience of sending them back and lack of ability to get a solution. It was a battle to get to that stage and it really shouldn’t be. The whole things has tainted my view of the brand and I won’t be buying any more sadly.
