Finisterre continues to hone the jac shirt..

I’ve been buying and trying Finisterres offerings for “Jac shirts” from day one, there’s no denying they only get better. Ive been increasingly trying to sever ties with polyester, I’ve the sold initial primaloft/reversible versions, I just didn’t like the fabrics Rustly feel, good as they are to keep out the wind they always feel a little sweaty and look a bit clinical. Offerings like the orbis I’ve not liked how they’ve worn over time, they didn’t feel smart/pilled but have done the job well. The wanson seemed too boxy in the fit/returned. Ok! This one! The fit is just great, I don’t think I’m a gorgeous guy but this makes the best of what I have! The pockets seem to broaden my weak chest, it has a good length and even with just a t shirt underneath bulks up in a good way in general. One thing I always think finisterre have a monopoly on is these shirts not being tight under the armpits, great for those of us who don’t like anti perspirant, but also the elbows don’t get tight when you move to say..wear or put on a pack, this sort of fabric stretches to allow that in a way cotton jackets don’t/I feel restricted. The only thing I felt was lacking was cuffs, a little wide for my bony wrists, the two fastening option was missed. The collar isn’t tight on the highest button for the first time and behaves (unlike the helm!) Poppers work really well, a good mid ground between fussy buttons and speedy but odd looking zips, concealed zip for speed would be a great option but…
