Introducing the Vela Leggings in black, made with our bamboo fabric. Naturally breathable, temperature regulating, antibacterial and moisture wicking, bamboo offers all the performance of a premium adventure ready base layer in a lighter, vegan alternative to Merino that's still sustainable. Cropped to a 7/8 length and built with full ergonomic flat locked seams for free moving comfort.

My favorite leggings

Soft fabric, medium thickness. Cropped fit hits right at the ankles for me, I'm 5'4", and has a flattering little flare out as opposed to other leggings whichare very tight at the ankles. Waist band is appropriately tight and provides good control. Work well for light activity, I have not yet tried more intense activity level.

Overall good, but could be better!

It’s soft and comfortable for sure! But the material does feel more like lounge wear than activewear. I’m ok wearing it to yoga and go on a hike, probably not gonna use them for leg day. I’m 5’2” so I really appreciate the length and fit too. However, they are not my “perfect” pair of leggings, two small improvements would do: 1) top band is a waist seam, hate these seams as they dig in if you wear them the whole day; 2) front seam, honestly at this point, no front seam should exist for any leggings. The fabric also makes the front seam camo situation more obvious.
