Super practical, warm, light and comfortable! I really like the design of this parka - fantastic hood. I only wish it came in “happier” colours. I hope to see it back soon :)
This is a great jacket for wet and windy dog walks. It’s lovely and lightweight but with a nice quilted lining for a bit of extra warmth. I love the length and the deep pockets, and the adjustable hood helps keep the worst of the weather off my face too!
I recently moved to Wales where it rains A LOT and so I was looking for that perfect rain coat: Functional for coastal walks and cycling kids to school but also stylish enough to qualify for work trips. Not too long and not too short, with a bit of warmth -- but not so much that it limits you to use in the winter months. The Solus is all that. I have been wearing it pretty much every day since it arrived. Top marks!
I trialled this jacket on a trip to the Scilly Isles in wild and stormy weather. Yes, I had to layer several jumpers underneath, but it kept me dry. The hood is really large too. Big enough to fit a hat underneath and zip up over your chin against the wind. Love it.
