This is exactly what I was looking for and worth the price. My husband has a very similar item made by a competitor. It is also well made but I noticed the pockets on his are only thin polyester lined while mine has full wool pockets and clearly a thicker more luxurious fabric. The colour is gorgeous.

The perfect fleece. Really cosy and comfy. Expensive but worth it - all my finisterre pieces are great quality and last forever!
I love this fleece. It’s become an essential for the school run four mile walk in rain or sun, to the hike on a Saturday in the hills. The only issue I have is that the sizing is tricky. I measured according to the guidelines and I have a fleece that is too big on the shoulders but doesn’t account for chest. I’m a petite 10 but I went for a 12 as I measure a D cup but there is no way that I could have got into a 10. I love it but the cut isn’t particularly flattering however I wouldn’t be without it for the winter. I’d recommend it as it’s beautifully warm; breathes with you and the toggle does make it less voluminous. It does shed a little but nothing I can’t deal with. Best fleece I’ve worn ever.
