Organic cotton workwear trouser in black

These feel high quality the moment you take them out of the bag. They're very well made and the colour looks even better in person than it does online. I've been wearing them non stop. I commute to work by bike and work in a pre-school, so what with cycling and constantly crouching to work with kids, I needed some trousers with a pretty strong construction (especially around the crotch). These feel like they'll last a long time, plus Finisterre has a repair service which I may make use of in the future!

I find the sizing very difficult, though. I'm a 32" waist with Levi's, but 34" from Blue Harbour (Marks & Spencer's brand). I got size 32" here and they were perfect everywhere apart from the waistband, which almost seemed to be too small compared to the rest of the trousers. It was very tight, and yet the legs were still very long. I looked at the next size up but it would have been ridiculously large on me.

Overall, I've kept the trousers in the hopes that they give a bit over time. I really hope they do because they're beautiful trousers with a great fit, it's just the waist band that seems to be a bit on the small side compared to all other measurements of the trousers. I wish they did in-between sizes as I'm pretty sure I'd be a 33" waist. I'd certainly recommend them, but maybe order two sizes if you think you're in between.
