Women's Filmmaker Competition
Our film competition was a celebration of the bravery and fortitude shown by women of the sea.
And the winner is...
With over 50 entries, we had a great response to the International Women's Day film competition. It was a real pleasure going through them and we are excited to announce that Leah Rustomjee is the winner of the £5,000 grant to make her film a reality. Watch this space.
Leading From The Front
Joya Berrow and Lucy Jane are award-winning directors, creating impactful and authentic films that amplify marginalised voices. Taking first place at the London Surf Film Festival in 2018, check out their documentary Surf Girls Jamaica for inspiration.

Supporting Women and Girls in the Water
On 8th March the Finisterre Foundation CIC donated £2 from every order placed to Yonder Surf Academy CIC. All money raised is being used to provide a multi-day, beginners surf course to anyone lacking confidence and community to enter the water.
Yonder Surf Academy CIC
Yonder CIC works with women and girls to build confidence, self-esteem and positive mental health, both in and out of the ocean.
