The Fabric of Finisterre
15 years of pioneering innovation through sustainability
More from the Broadcast
The seeds of adventure are sown in winter, awaiting the warmth of spring. To see the sun again. To rekindle our relationship with the sea. The new season announces its return. Skies brighten. Temperatures rise. The seeds of adventure take root, drawing us out to the coast.
At Finisterre we live for the sea. It sustains us, both in mind and body, and in return we love it back. Championing it. Protecting it. Taking responsibility and innovating sustainable solutions. Products built to have as little impact as possible and enable a deeper connection with the sea.
Dreams of spring are finally within reach. Seeds are sprouting. It’s time to venture forth.
Our outerwear has you covered for every eventuality. From fluorocarbon free waterproof coatings, to our classic insulated jackets featuring our own Finisterre Engineered Insulation, all our outerwear is built to perform without harming the planet.
Fully waterproof, with taped seams and a specially made microporous membrane, the Rainbird is lightweight, versatile and recycled throughout – taking care of both you and the planet.
In 2019 we achieved our goal of sourcing only organic cotton for our range. It takes 71% less water and 62% less energy to grow than standard cotton, with no harmful pesticides needed. Simply put, why would we use anything else?
Fabric of Finisterre
With their super soft fabric and bespoke fit, we’ve considered all the details on our organic cotton tees and tops. From the humble white tee to designs inspired by the sea, they’re ready to take you through to summer.
All of our swimwear is fully recycled. As a brand that lives for the sea, it’s something we’re particularly proud of. Made for adventures in, on or around the water, whilst protecting what’s beneath the surface.
The Broadcast
