Great all round coat
A very nice coat - looks good, quality is high and it is warm! It was a Christmas present and the recipient was very happy.
Great fit, kept dry in heavy showers and also warm
Even though the measurement guidelines recommend I purchase a large, I opted to take my chances and ordered a medium instead, which I based on the height of the 6 foot models wearing the parka (I’m 5’11”). The size is perfect and I love the minimalist design of the parka. I also appreciate that there’s no domineering logo that you’d see in other parkas from similar companies. This parka has kept me warm in the mild winters of DC, NYC and deserts of California. While I think this parka would keep me warm in a Chicago winter on its own, I’ve paired it with a insulated vest which definitely added extra warmth. Other reviewers have mentioned how difficult the zipper can be but if you figure out the particular technique of ensuring that the slider, pin, and retaining box are synced up then its smooth sailing from there. I am 100% happy with the design, durability, and quality of the parka and hope it maintains itself during the winter seasons.
Good length to jacket with balance of warmth and waterproof. Perfect for cooler temperatures. Only concern is zip can be a bit difficult to join.
