I bought this in April because I love the look and fit but didn't think I'd get much wear out of it till the autumn. But British weather has delivered more opportunities, bless it. This jacket is as warm as any insulated hooded jacket but looks super smart too. Perfect for morning and evening walks, and chillier days in early spring (and no doubt autumn too).
Great product, there was a problem with shipping but the customer service was great and helped me get the jacket
Very good value for money and a really good look, I bought both colours
Loving the padded Lapwing Shirt. I work as an Outdoor Instructor, this garment works well as a throw on over a T-Shirt coming off the crag. Its very light and stuffs down nice and small into your rucsack. Looks a bit smarter than a thin down jacket. Helps takes the chill off down the pub. I'm probably a M size 40" chest but I wanted the fit a bit snugger, Sizing is about right, small was just right for me but if you pushing bigger than a 40" chest or want to wear extra to a T-Shirt underneath I'd go for the Medium. The large internal drop pockets are really useful and will easily carry a couple of beer bottles back to your tent. The shirt will take a light shower, even if it does get wet its still keeps you warm as the fill is synthetic not down. I've climbed at high altitude in extreme cold and If I had one suggestion for any outdoor company that makes insulated shirts/jackets it would be, make the inner lining for the arms and body out of a fabric that isn't cold at first contact against bare skin, like cotton or similar. Synthetic inner linings can also get a bit sweaty once you have warmed up.
