Fishermen's jumpers have always been a key reference when creating our knitwear, blending essential warmth with storytelling patterns. In 2013 we based the original Alkan Jumper on a traditional good luck charm cable from the fishing communities of the Aran Islands. Updated to celebrate our 15th year with a chunky roll neck, the 15 Years Alkan is knitted from a super soft alpaca / wool blend yarn.

One of my gorgeous Finisterre jumpers. Perfect for out and about walking the wintery Yorkshire hills and dales and for cosying up in front of the fire. They are the icing on the cake to my Yorkshire hygge 😀.

This jumper is so soft and cosy. I got a size up from my usual 8, as I wanted it to feel loose, and it’s a great fit. I would give it five stars, but I find it loses it’s shape a little after wearing it for longer periods. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and I’d highly recommend.
