Recycled nylon insulated puffer parka in olive green

The coat part of this coat is fantastic and exactly what I wanted:

- long (to top of wellies)

- double zip, makes walking up hills easier

- double pockets, store stuff safely in the flapped pockets, warm your hands in fleece lined ones

- super warm, neck baffle is great

- great colour, doesnt mark

- matte material (I’m just not a fan of shiny coats)

BUT the hood isn’t great.

It’s warm and removable, fab.

But, it’s too small, doesn’t cover the front part of my head, so I’m snow/light rain your fringe is soaked.

It also sits up weirdly on top of your head and catches the wind.

It isn’t flattering at all.

And if you’re wearing a beanie it doesn’t go over it.

I’m a size 10, with what I would assume is a pretty normal sized head.

What I’d LOVE is for Finisterre to release an extra hood I could buy that had an extra inch or so of material around the face hole, with a little structure.

With a better hood, this coat would be perfect.
