Named after one of the UK's lightest birds, the Firecrest range is our most lightweight insulation to date. Made from recycled materials, layer it up with T-shirts, over knits or under a waterproof shell. Zip it up and pull up the hood as the weather turns or the sun drops.

I had been looking at this jacket online for some time as it kept popping up on my Instagram feed so I decided to pop in to the Finisterre shop in Bath to try it on before making a purchase. This was my first time in the store and I loved pretty much all of the clothing they had! I tried on several jackets but ultimately purchased this one because it ticked all of my boxes - it's lightweight, has a hood, is a great colour, and will gets lots of wear. I love the Finisterre ethos as well as the fact they are a British brand, so I will definitely buy from them again. Plus the staff in store were incredibly helpful, as were their customers!
