Good for the planet and keeping you dry
I was initially drawn to the environmentally friendly properties of the product:
- Recycled with flurocarbon free waterproofing
- Repair options
- Reused/upcycled or recycled with the take back scheme at the end of it’s life.
It’s unusual in a review that I have to mention the packaging, but I was very impressed with it. Lightweight, recycled, biodegradable. I’ve not seen anything like the ‘Leave no trace packaging’ and curiosity meant that I had to test out whether it would dissolve in boiling water (it did).
The jacket itself is so much softer than any other shells I’ve had in the past. At the time of this review it’s November in the UK. I’ve had it a couple of weeks and the important things for me are it’s ability to keep the water out and it’s breathability as I cycle (commuting) and walk in it. So far it has done the job with both of these. I’m very happy with it and have recommended it to friends who are looking for a new jacket.
