Over our first ever Blue Friday weekend, we raised an incredible £14,120 for the Finisterre Foundation Wetsuit Project, to adapt wetsuits for those who face barriers in accessing the sea. Thank You.

A connection to the sea can bring untold mental and physical health benefits, but for some there are barriers to accessing those benefits. The Wetsuit Project has smashed its funding target, enabling us to get to work adapting wetsuits for people of all ages, nationwide.

The Foundation have provided us with some awesome wetsuits that have been specially adapted, with zips in the arms and legs of the suits make putting a wetsuit on so much easier for those surfers with less mobility. The suits arrived just in time for our Summer Surf Challenge held at Watergate Bay in Cornwall where we helped approximately 70 children experience a Surfing Taster day and enjoy the benefits of surfing.
