Warm enough to wear on its own in milder temperatures, the 150g REPREVE sheet insulation feels warm but thin, making it ideal for layering over jumpers and under a waterproof in colder weather. The comfortable bomber-style collar and patch pockets add function and style, with a nod to its workwear roots.

First off, the quality of the garment is first rate. The fit is spot on, although I did take a flyer on choosing XS. I have previously purchased a jacket I chose Small and although it fits it certainly couldn't be any smaller. Conversely I had a shirt bought for me as a gift, again Small but decidedly too large for me much nearer a medium. All of the garments are of a superior quality, although consistentency of fit throughout the range is suspect.
With regards to the gilet in particular, I feel that the lack of an inner phone pocket and no means of securing the outer pockets in what I perceive as an action item of clothing is a negative.
That said all in all a very nice purchase that I'm sure I shall be wearing as Autumn beckons.
