Making new clothes from old ones, this timeless wool sweater is made with recycled yarn from knitwear at the end of its first life.
Working with recycling expert Dr John, we've deconstructed old wool sweaters (including some from our own take-back program) to create new yarn. Knitted in a simple, understated fisherman sweater style with raglan sleeve detailing, it's soft, warm and represents a landmark moment in our circularity journey.

This sweater is even better than I imagined. Knowing that a great deal is recycled, I imagined a stiffer texture, but to my surprise, it's so soft! I wear it all the time now, perfect for the cold days in New England. The sweater has an oversize fit but in a comfy way--you're not swimming in it. I'd love to see it in more colors, though I love the gray.
