A more accessible version of our warmest winter wetsuit, removing the hood and incorporating an easy entry back zip.
Built for sea temperatures of 7-11°C/45-52°F, the men's Nieuwland 5.5/4.5mm Back Zip takes wetsuit design back to basics, whilst retaining all the innovations of modern technology. Made from flexible and hardwearing natural rubber, this wetsuit will keep you in the water for longer, and is easy to take off after long, cold session.
Tight fit when new, will loosen after 10-15 wears.

A surprisingly flexy Yulex winter wetsuit that I found pretty easy to put on, albeit with plastic bags over my feet. I have a 3.5mm Patagonia Yulex R2, and honestly think the thicker Finisterre is easier. I tried the front zip 5.5mm model as a comparison and it’s a totally different beast and a real struggle. The only gripe I have is that I need help with the batwing, since I never manage to pull it up myself. A suggestion is to lengthen the zipper lanyard and attach the free end to the top of the batwing. Then you can easily pull it up first and close the zip.
