Recycled Wool

We use recycled wool in a number of our products, keeping materials that would have been discarded in circulation, and giving them a new life.

As wool is a highly intensive fibre to produce from an environmental perspective, we try and source recycled options when they are available, ensuring the quality is comparable to that of non-recycled wool.

We have both pre-consumer sources from industrial waste but also post-consumer options with fabric-to-fabric mechanical recycling - taking our old knitwear from our trade-in partner Reskinned, deconstructing it and re-using the yarn to create new jumpers.

When working with post-consumer feedstock, we blend recycled wool with virgin yarn where needed to maintain the strength and feel expected of our products. Recycled fibres can be shorter and more fragile, so this careful balance ensures our knitwear remains high-quality and stands the test of time.
