TENCEL™
Tencel™ fibres are naturally soft, smooth to the touch, and are made from wood, a natural raw material.
Tencel™ Lyocell and Modal fibres are made from wood, a natural and renewable raw material carefully sourced from responsibly managed forests. The wood taken from nature is purposefully balanced with forest growth rates, to ensure the continued availability of this valuable resource. For the production of Tencel™ fibres, wood is used for its high cellulose content. Timber from thinning or damaged wood can be used, so Lenzig, the company that produces Tencel™, is not in competition with other industries for high-quality wood.
