Offering optimal movement, the under-chin strap keeps the cap in place without restricting flexibility or vision. I bought this swim cap as I wanted to start ocean swimming! I'm so impressed with how easy it is to put on with all my hair tucked into the cap. It looks cute with it's chin strap, kind of like an old fashioned swim cap, and keeps my head nice and warm. I noticed that this also keeps the water out surprisingly well and my hair stays partially dry! Great product! My only feedback is that the chin strap is a bit on the long side.
