I return to buy these consistently and now have a lot of pairs. The wool synthetic mix is about right for hard wearing. I walk for commuting 15 miles a week and this British made (bonus) sock just does not die. I have tried other wool socks including some other finnistere which never last in the heel or toe. Keep coming back to these. None of them have developed holes which is bonkers really. My first pair is five years old. Will be gutted if they change them or discontinue.
