2023 will see the introduction of insulated jackets containing REPREVE Our Ocean, a 100% recycled synthetic fill made of ocean-bound plastics. Keeping plastic out of the sea, and you warm in all conditions. By 2024, all our insulated jackets will contain REPREVE fill.

Offering superior high-loft insulation which outperforms down in wet coastal conditions, Repreve considerably reduces emissions as well as water and energy consumption in comparison to the production of virgin polyester; balancing warmth, performance and sustainability.

REPREVE® Our Ocean product is made 100% bottles collected from within 50 Km of coastlines in countries or areas that lack formal waste or recycling systems and infrastructure. There is no addition of virgin yarn or pre or post-consumer content, so 100% from bottles at high risk of entering the oceans and seas.

In 2017, after nearly a decade of research and development, we introduced Finisterre Engineered Insulation (FEI); our own synthetic insulated fill that had a higher recycled content than anything that was available on the market. But we didn't stop there. We then created our A-form insulation made from 100% recycled polyester; offering the same high-loft as down, but with increased performance in wet conditions and less impact on the planet. These innovations have served us well but from 2023 we be transitioning to use REPREVE® Recycled Insulation in all our insulation.
