Finisterre Wool:
It's In Our Nature

Our Best Knitwear
Just Got Better

Wool has been at the heart of our range since the early days. Building on this tradition and our enduring belief of doing things better, this season sees three exciting updates to our offering.

2022 Knitwear Innovations

No More Virgin Plastics

We’ve made 100% merino versions of our bestselling jumpers; eradicating virgin acrylic and polyester in our knitwear to improve sustainability and quality.

Accelerated Degradability

We’ve replaced polyester and nylon blends with recycled CiCLO® fibres in our knitwear, which break down harmlessly at the same rate as wool in soil and sea.

Made In Britain

We’ve extended our UK manufacturing, creating a selection of classic jumpers made with British wool, knitted in England.

Rose, Finisterre’s Senior Design Manager, talks through this season’s innovations.

Degradable CiCLO® Innovation

“CiCLO® accelerates the safe breakdown of plastic fibres in soil and sea, reducing fugitive microplastics in the environment.”

Rose Savidge, Senior Design Manager

Breaking down at the same rate as wool, we’ve introduced recycled and degradable CiCLO® fibres to ensure the whole garment breaks down at the end of its useful life. Find out more here.
