This is a spring/Scottish summer jacket. It is lightweight but provides warmth and is well made. Olive green is a bit of a departure for me but I like it. It’s a bit brighter than shown in the photos. I’m a size 8 and that’s what I ordered and the fit is good - roomy enough for a sweater but looks good with a T shirt too. I’d be wary of sizing down if you’re broad in the shoulder. The turn up collar is a lovely feature which gives a feminine touch. I think I’ll get a lot of wear from this.
I love how lightweight it is but still super warm at the same time. It makes the jacket so versatile!
As soon as I saw this jacket in navy I snapped it up. I had the sage green one already and it's much loved. I sized up this time and I'm glad I did. It's a boxy shape but the cut is good enough to wear oversized. Sizing up meant that I could wear this over really chunky jumpers easily and also gave me a welcome extra bit of length in the sleeves. I've worn it in the recent snowy weather with woollies underneath and I think it'll 'be great through the spring as a main layer. I'm usually underwhelmed by padded jackets but I love the dry (as opposed to shiny) look and feel of the fabric. My favourite feature is the curved collar, which feels feminine without being girly. I'd love to see this collar on a chore jacket or on a brushed cotton shirt in the winter.
Materials are good quality and designs stand out from the crowd!
