Yulex® natural rubber swimsuit in flame orange and ink blue

I usually swim skins year-round (in Scotland) and maybe add a neoprene jacket during those few terrible weeks in January/February when it feels like the water will never warm up again. After that, I usually don’t bother with the jacket, but I tend to still get painfully cold on my collarbone, and *only* my collarbone.

This swimsuit eliminates that problem wonderfully and I suspect will see me nicely through those late autumn and early spring chilly swims. I only had the chance to try it a few times as it’s now warm enough to swim in my regular swimsuit again, but it was great each swim I tried it. It's also surprisingly easy to put on and take off, even with clammy fingers.

The size 16 fits me well, though I’m arguably a size 18 or bigger in other brands. It bunches up a little in the crotch/bottom area, likely because I have a short torso, but it’s nothing dramatic. It doesn’t flood, which is what matters to me. The arm and neck areas are not letting much water in, so that’s great, but it’s also not uncomfortably tight.

I really recommend this product, though I would love to be able to recommend it to my bigger friends as well. You hear me, Finisterre? Start making bigger sizes, please! The sea is for everyone, regardless of body size!
