Description
The Akins British-made women's jeans are built from 100% organic cotton denim in Blackburn, England. The premium quality 13oz denim is woven specifically for us on traditional shuttle looms, with selvedge in bespoke Finisterre colours.
Available in both a long and regular length, these ultra high waist, straight cut jeans are a versatile staple. The jeans are fully reinforced and feature chain stiched hems for added durability. The jeans feature a deep indigo colourway, classic five pocket jeans design and Finisterre rivet buttons.

Wearing these jeans is an experience. A good experience. They take charge, though I know they will soften with time. I am 5’4”, 133 lbs, and I got the 30” X 30” and they fit well: just right at waist, extra room in hips. They are barely long enough to cuff, however. With a platform brogue I don’t cuff them at all. I like these jeans a lot. Impeccably made.
Bought these for my sister who loves finisterre. Once again, she’s in love with these. Great work as per usual.
They’re just spot on. Perfect colour and cut. I find them very flattering and can be worn with so many things. I reach for them everyday and feel great wearing them.
I’m 5’4” and a size 10 and wear the 28W short length. As to be expected with raw denim they’re super stiff to begin with and the dye does transfer onto light coloured clothing.
I've had these over a year now & I LOVE THEM! That's all there is to say.
Lovely jeans, nice thick fabric. I was worried that the button fly would be stiff and annoying but it is fine. The fabric softens up after a couple if wears. I haven't washed them yet so unable to comment on shrinkage.
