- Clean Your Pack
Using a damp sponge with mild soap (we recommend non-toxic, environmentally friendly options), wipe out the inside and outside of the pack bag after each trip.
Rinse pack completely using cool, clean water. Make sure to rinse zippers and buckles clean of dirt and debris. A bathtub is a great spot for cleaning and rinsing.
Wipe off excess water with a towel and allow the pack to air dry away from a heat source and out of direct sunlight, keeping all zippered pockets open until completely dry.
For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled Polyamide brush. Note that excessive brushing can damage the protective coatings on the fabric and is not recommended.

I love this backpack- I had the 45litre which was so comfortable on but as I we came into winter and I wanted to do some winter/ snow camping - that extra 10litres really does make all the difference for those extra few necessities.
I love the ergonomic fit- so much better after years of mens straps sitting wide on my shoulders. The semi detachable top works really well for having camping gear/ mat at the top but it also works as a regular top too.
The outside pockets are decent- one side for a nalgene, the stretchy back pocket for map/ trowel/ waterproof layer … easy to get to stuff and the hip pockets for hiking snacks.
Anything I don’t love, the colour is fine but I would have either liked something to either blend more into nature or be more colourful. I think it looks great though.
Size wise- if I was on a multi day hike I might struggle for space- 54 works well for a day or two… and stops you overpacking but I did find I just had enough space and no more for two days worth of gear in minus conditions. But overall a great pack that worked well for me. There’s probably lighter/ more magical packs out there but for a decent, well made and ethical pack- I’ll take Finisterre every time.
