Bought in the height of summer, I waited for the thermometer to drop into the low twenties before closing the curtains to dull the harsh glare of the sun, I had been looking for a brown wool jumper to go with faded old jeans, a jumper to share the cold winter with that will heat my old bones as the thermometer returns to more familiar territory. I slid my sun scorched arms into the sleeves noticing no itching or scratching from the soft wool, pulling the neck over my head equally felt soft and cosy and as my internal temperature approached dangerous levels it was off I could stand no more.. I look forward to Autumn as the wind and rain batters against the window I'll be in my Mora wooly jumper, cosy and possibly saving money on the gas bill.
