Recycled Neoprene
On a mission to introduce circularity to the Wetsuit industry since 2017, in 2025 we were incredibly proud to launch our first product made of recycled wetsuits.
Globally, an estimated 8,380 tonnes of old wetsuits end up in landfill each year. Due to their complex material structure they have been almost impossible to recycle, until now.
We first launched our Wetsuits from Wetsuits program back in 2017, focusing on material construction and how to solve the age-old question of what to do with a wetsuit at the end of its functional life.
In 2022 we collected over 1000 used wetsuits from our community to give them a new life. After much testing and development, in 2025 we proudly launched our first product made from recycled wetsuits.
We worked closely with our partners at Circular Flow who have developed a process that shreds the suits and then bonds the waste, creating a versatile recycled material that can be used to manufacture a wide range of new products. Every component of the suits is recycled, including zips and plastic elements, so that no waste is generated.
