A two-tier wash and rewaterproofing service of any Finisterre insulation or waterproof jacket using environmentally friendly proofing products, Storm Apparel Wash and Proof.
Service only available in the UK. 4 week turnaround, may vary during peak times.
Please wash your repair before sending it in as we will be unable to reproof it if it is dirty, to note this is not a stain removal service. Due to various factors, we cannot guarantee reproofing results on jackets over 5 years old.
Repair Information
- A three tier wash and water repellency/reproofing service of any insulation or waterproof jacket using Storm Apparel Wash and Proof.
- Available for all Finisterre jackets
- Repairs take on average 4-6 weeks
- Please ensure your jacket arrives clean and dry to the workshop ready for the three-tier technical wash and reproofing service. Any items which arrive unwashed will be charged an extra cleaning fee.

I had an issue with the zip on my Stormbird jacket. I'd had the jacket for a year or so and it is my go-to coat especially in winter (and I have a lot a coats !). I was gutted when the zip developed a problem which meant it it came apart at the bottom. When I contacted Finisterre they offered a FOC repair with a reproofing at a small extra cost. The jacket came back quickly and looked almost new - amazing ! The service was great and it's so nice to deal with a company that looks after its customers and its quality products in the throw away culture we live in. Thank you 🙏
