What's the difference between a windbreaker and a windcheater?

They're two names for the same thing. 'Windcheater' is the traditional British term and 'windbreaker' is more widely used today, both describing a lightweight windcheater jacket made to break the wind. You'll see us use both across our Forecast range.

The Forecast Windcheater Jacket is fully windproof (1 CFM rating) with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish for light weather protection, rather than being fully waterproof. For heavy or prolonged rain, explore our waterproof jackets, built with taped seams for full weather protection.
