Named after one of the UK's lightest birds, the Firecrest is ideal for active on-the-go adventures. Layering easily over a t-shirt or jumper, or under a waterproof shell, it's incredibly versatile and packs down easily into your bag. At the ready when the sun dips or the wind picks up, for warmth without restriction.

Very light and thin, yet comfortably warm and cosy - it's a good cut piece of clothing, giving a feeling of a warm hug without overdoing it like a puffy winter sport jacket would. Perfect for the one hour cycling commute to work in the cooler months, instead of a full jacket. It even stands a light to medium drizzle very well, to my pleasant surprise!
Really happy I took the trouble to ordering this overseas. (Cudos for the packaging and delivery service.)
Only a front zip chest pocket could improve it (That would be very handy for keeping the phone in reach within hearing distance in those windy conditions :) )
