These socks are the absolute best if you are an outdoorsy person - as in, you work in the great outdoors! I am a professional horticulturalist, so I am on my feet (and knees!) a lot. These socks stay in place in your boots; they don't slip and slide around, aren't TOO thick, but warm enough for most conditions. These are my best boots for work or hiking. I like to sleep in the bosun socks!
