I bought this bag to replace a cheaper dry bag I'd been using for commuting on my bike in all weather conditions and this is definitely fit for purpose and also works as my everyday backpack. This has replaced two other backpacks for me, and also a laptop case as the supplied one is also better than what I've had previously and I feel confident that I can chuck it on the back of my bike in all weathers without my laptop being ruined.
I went for the larger version, and it definitely is big. This isn't a complaint though as I've found it to be really versatile enough for quick trips out, longer expeditions and also for a trip to the shops on bike.
Quality seems spot on so far, there's a bit of tearing in the side bottle pockets but I think this is down to me trying to put a tripod in there, now I just use it for a 1l Nalgene bottle and a tub of snacks in the other side. The front pocket is great for keys, gloves, etc but although convenient can be a bit of a black hole. Same for the main compartment, I do find myself using a torch to dig stuff out at times. This is more of an observation than a complaint however.
