High Internal Pile & Lumbar Patch

For additional heat retention our 5mm, 4mm & 3mm wetsuits have a high internal pile and thicker patches on the chest and lower back to maintain core warmth and keep you out for longer.

Taped Seams & Double Blind Stitching

Made to last multiple seasons, our cold water wetsuits feature double blind stitching throughout, as well as taped seams to keep the cold out and your body heat in.

Recycled Linings

From outer laminates to internal linings we use recycled polyester, blended with spandex for sustainable construction with that touch of stretch to keep you flexible.

Tension Wristbands & Ankle Loops

Tension wristbands maintain a tight fit to prevent flushing, and the bespoke ankle loops on our 4mm and 5mm wetsuits aid easy entry when fumbling with frozen fingers.

AquaA™ Solvent-Free Glue

All our wetsuits are laminated using AquaA™; a solvent-free adhesive that eliminates Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), without compromising on performance or durability.

Outstanding build quality and warmth, limited mobility

Have used the suit for approximately 25 sessions.

My main point of comparison is O’Neill suits of which I’ve had several but skin irritation after lots of time in the water led to me search for an alternative to Neoprene.

Fit: As per the size guide. I went with a ML due to being a more ‘athletic’ build and wanting a suit slightly larger around the shoulders and chest area. As Finisterre say the suit does fit slightly smaller than it should for the first 10 or so wears.

Build quality: Outstanding. The whole suit is superbly manufactured and well designed. Seams and zipper are far better quality than any other suit I’ve owned. 25 sessions and it still looks brand new whereas other suits would be beginning to show signs of wear and tear on the seams. I’ve heard that it’s a suit that will last multiple winter seasons and the build quality corresponds to this.

Warmth: Again outstanding. The warmest suit I’ve worn by a good margin. The cuffs on the arms and legs are very tight which eliminates any flushing. The hood when tightened does not flush either. The suit is designed for UK winter conditions and it shows. I’ve actually been slightly too warm despite being in ~10 degree water with a cold wind.

Flexibility: This for me is the only draw-back of the suit. The flexibility of the natural rubber does still not compete with Neoprene alternatives such as on the hyperfreaks etc. Paddling feels that bit harder and getting in and out of the suit is a bit of an epic due to the…
