I am 5'4' or 162 cm and this falls just mid calf. I find the cut very flattering and comfortable to wear, though I am not going to wear this dress without a t shirt under the straps, probably. The straps do stay up I am happy to say and didn't need adjusting-it looks like a palaver to change them. I've washed it once, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and didn't see any shrinkage, though I did wash it alone in case it ran. I find Finisterre a very true to size company and this is a perfect 14 for me.
