Offering a higher pile than our Axiom and Penmere polar fleeces, the Bolster's mid-weight high-pile fabric is 100% recycled, with contrast shoulder patches coated with an FC Free hard-wearing Water Repellant (DWR) finish to offer some protection in a shower. In a flattering, boxy shape they're ideal layering for whatever your day has in store.

I love this fleece, it’s just that bit thicker and so warmer. Being fairly heavyweight, it’s a cross between a fleece and a jacket. The sizing is true to size; so that can wear several layers under, I sized up to a 12 (I’m usually an 8-10) and it was as oversized as expected. I plan to buy the 1/4 zip version too, I love this style so much.
I haven’t washed it yet, the fleece is higher pile so does look a bit bobbly straight out the packaging, but I have not noticed it bobble in the way wool jumpers do, and it has been worn daily since it arrived two weeks ago. So it seems to be wearing pretty well.
