A great layer instead of, or even over, a fleece jumper. Great colour and simple design. The pocket linings are a bit rustly though. Have worn lots with no pilling. The square shape (not coming in at the waist) suits me and it seems true to size.
Really pleased with the fleece. Warm, soft and very comfortable. Keeping me warm while light and easy to wear. Just what I wanted.
Was taken aback by the VAT not being included in the price advertised on the website. It was a sale item and was a very good price which is why I wanted it. Might not have done if it had been advertised with the VAT price in the first instance, feel a bit duped.
I've got two of the Penmere full zip fleeces now and love them both. The fit is great with the elasticated cuffs and hem, making them particularly flattering. So warm too, much warmer than any other fleeces I own.
I love this fleece! It is as warm as I'd hoped and fits neatly as a true-to-size 12. Plenty of room for a decent base layer underneath. The navy is a little paler than I'd anticipated from the online images, but that doesn't detract from the excellent combination of navy and orange. I shall wear this a lot both outdoors and indoors! Being made of recycled materials is obviously also a plus point.
I feel like my mother reviewing this but this fleece is both really flattering and very practical - the pockets are great for walks etc and it’s smart enough to wear out and about too. Lots of compliments about the colour! I size down in everything Finisterre (from a 10 to an 8) and this is no different for me, although a 10 would also have worked too with a looser fit.
