Haven’t worn out yet as still deciding what to choose but this seems a keeper as reviews suggest!

Only last year I finally clocked where jumpers fit in the grand scheme of keeping warm! I got the furlong roll neck and it’s my go too, it’s saving me from freezing indoors with my heating on very low to save money! previously tried merino base layers and have never liked wool in contact with my underarms, i find it clammy, cotton sweats you soon realise tend to get damp and cold in winter, you need the power of WOOL. I realised some proper jumpers (the furlong) have a sweatshirt style fit/material well away from arm pits so you can keep warm without getting smelly if you over heat, I choose this one simply because I’m always in the furlong! I’m also thinking a crew could be good to wear with funnel neck jackets because roll necks and this type of jacket can result in a tight neck when you’re all zipped up! I was a little reticent as the mora is extra fine merino and the x fine/fisherman roll neck I got last year seemed (despite best efforts) to shrink slightly on washing and it got too snug/I also found it a little stifling, no matter! I got a very good price reselling! Finisterre jumpers hold their value! this jumper I went a size up to get greater clearance to underarms and a little leighway in case of shrinking, the open knit I hope will stop it being too warm I hope, it’s certainly thicker and softer than the furlong. I do find going out you need something to keep the wind out/tight knit jacket or you get cold as they are very airy. I tried the furlong crew and I…
