I brought this swimsuit after a lot of research into recycled materials as you cannot get natural materials for swimsuits and I don t want to create more plastic waste. Finisterre use a fabric which is certified as safe. To my horror another uk surfwear brand use recycled plastic bottles as the swimsuit liner and from my research the recommendation is not to wear next to the skin as it is not safe. I m very glad finisterre are responsible and don t try to greenwash at the customers expense. The only reason i took a star off was the sizing - i measured myself and matched a 12 however it was overall a bit too big.
