These shorts are very lightweight, pack well and are loose and light for wear in warm weather. I wear a size 12 but sized up to 14 for comfort and they still had a flattering shape (however they are true to size). If you're backpacking or doing strenuous activity, they don't retain body odour, but they do wash well and dry quickly.
